How VarComm handles your data, in plain English.
Data storage
Your account information and uploaded files are stored securely. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties.
AI processing
VarComm sends your variance data to Anthropic's Claude API to generate commentary. Anthropic processes that data according to its own privacy policy. You can read it at anthropic.com/legal/privacy.
Data retention
Uploaded CSV data is not stored permanently. It is used to process your report and then discarded. We keep your saved column mappings and report history only if you are a registered user.
Security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt and are never stored in plain text.
No training on your data
Your financial data is never used to train AI models. It is used only to generate commentary for your reports.
